I would like to start off by extending a
heartfelt thank you to Liz for what she has done for my son, Oliver.
Oliver has mild ASD and before going to Liz, Oliver had very limited
reading and math abilities but I am very happy to see that he is much
better now. With Liz, Oli has gained a new sense of confidence and he
is now able to read independently and have improved on his math skills
as well.
What is more important is that Liz teaches in
such a way that Oli is actually enthusiastic about reading and learning
- her methods are effective and yet interesting for kids. Liz is very
patient, friendly and genuinely cares for her students and this is why
Oli enjoys going to her lessons! have brought Oli to other institutions
and teachers before, but Oli's breakthrough was definitely realized
when he started with Liz. I feel truly fortunate that we found Liz and
can't thank her enough for what she has done. If you have any
questions, feel free to contact me at michael_lsw@hotmail or +65

Sam has been seeing Liz now for 3 years and
has grown much in capability and confidence. He started not knowing his
alphabets and very quickly moved from success to success – he now
works at grade level for most subjects and beyond grade level in a few
areas. Liz has been able to use a combination of teaching techniques
and methods to suit Sam, and has always integrated best practices and
his interests. She is constantly able to keep pace with his capacity
for work and stretches him appropriately. We find Liz very pleasant and
flexible to deal with and we have great confidence in placing Sam under
her care. She has worked closely with Sam’s class teachers and
school curriculum to ensure that he is learning appropriately. Liz has
a genuine love for children and this shows in her approach to teaching.
Further, a lot of attention is given to lesson planning, notes on each
lesson (for us to follow-up at home) and the manner in which notes
books reflecting the child’s work, is kept in an easy,
reference-able manner. We consider Liz instrumental in Sam’s
development and progress so far and would have no hesitation is
recommending her services to anyone. |

My son Ivan has been with Liz since December
07. It’s been only a few months but I have seen a tremendous
amount of improvement. I am pleased with her teaching strategies and
her communication skills. Ivan looks forward to come for class every
week even though we live far away.
I would strongly recommend her to anyone I feel needs help. I am very
pleased and look forward to a long time of partnership with Liz to help
my son. |

Liz has been helping my 4year old autistic
boy for almost a year now. She has been great. As she offers one-to-one
interaction, she is able to tailormake the teaching to suit my child's
need in different areas and at different levels - academic, social,
emotional, behavioural. She is very open and consultative, willing to
hear you out and flexible in her approach. For example, she was happy
to incorporate music into my son's programme as he has a particular
interest in it. I'm so glad she is part of Team Oliver (that's what my
husband calls all the lovely teachers and therapists helping our son).
Thank you Liz! You are much appreciated! |

Liz has been teaching my son for
about 8 months. Within months there were improvements in reading,
spelling and handwriting. As a result he is now at peer level at most
subjects in his school, while before he was very behind. She also
teaches in a fun and practical way, and my son enjoys the sessions with
her. She is also very good with listening to parent's observations and
ideas to help the child. |

Aunty Liz has been teaching me
since year 2000. She helped me in English and Mathematics for many
years. She is the best teacher. She even teach me to sit properly with
the rubber chicken. When I was young, my favourite was a feely bag game
where we sing and feel what is inside the bag. |
